When The Night Falls

Holy Mackrel!  This week has drained me.  Between the Giants and A's having me on an emotional roller coaster, and the freight train that is work, your girl is ready for the weekend.  Look, I will fully admit something to y'all...And if you have been reading this blog for more than a half post, you will already know this, but, my favorite color is black.  I have my closet organized by color and the majority of that, is blackonblackonblack.  Maybe it's because my mom insisted in me dressing in red, pink, and purple only until I was forced into a school uniform.

Wearing: Skirt: Ann Klein. Booties: Dolce Vita. Both via Poshmark.  Necklace: Stella & Dot. 

Whatever the cause may be, even though there is a ton of oxblood/maroon/burgundy goodness out there right now, I can't buy any of it.   So, after selling a grip of clothes on Poshmark last week, I immediately started looking for some key pieces to satiate my wanting to shop.  When I found this buttery soft pleated leather skirt, I knew it had to come home to me.  Y'all, this thing is pure perfection.  When I showed it to The Mister I said: "Aren't you proud of me?  I finally found a leather skirt that my ass isn't hanging out of." Deadpan answer: "Finally."  Oh well, I will take that backhanded compliment.
