Ciao amici. Happy happy humpday to you all. We are half way to the weekend, and to celebrate, I am bringing you a new weekly feature to help all of you playing along at home with #thebradshaweffect. One of the things that I told myself when committing to this shopping freeze, that I could get through this very easily, because if there is one thing I can do well, it's remix the everlivingish out of my closet. When I first started this blog I did Kendi's 30x30 challenge. If I could get through that, I can get through this! First up. Rethinking my favorite maxi dress that I got in August.

I have found that this dress has become my go to. Whether I am hanging out at the house watching football with The Mister, or going out to dinner, this is what I am reaching for. Sure it's a little Kimye, but, I dig it. Fun+a little sexy. What could be more me? Also, I wasn't able to take a photo of it but, I did also remix this dress recently with tights, boots, a chunky scarf, and a leather jacket for a chilly night at an outdoor play. You get the idea though. What items did you loveyoulongtime in the Summer that you are now rethinking and transitioning into Fall?

I spent some time over the past couple of weeks refining my closet, and carefully picking out items that I can sell on Poshmark, and what I absolutely need to keep to get through the next 90 days, and make a list of exactly what I need to be looking for to trade or buy on credits. What I have realized is the things that I actually need are essentials: chunky sweaters, pencil dresses/skirts, and a knitted hat. Not too shabby. So far I have used my Poshmark credits to snag a studded shoulder sweater and traded for some sick Dolce Vita lace booties. Also, Blue Vanilla has generously hooked your girl up with some serious sparklegemawesomeness to help me make it to the finish line. BOOOOYA!!!!!

I am gonna love this new feature yo! I started doing a similar one on Thursdays. I am not on a shopping freeze per se, but after going without (well . . . mostly . . .) gearing up to the wedding in addition to realizing I use far more money than necessary on bank fees, I am determined to love my closet more as is. I love this maxi on you and I can totally tell its remixability. Well done my friend.
