Girl On A Shopping Freeze

Hi Pals.  I hope your week is off to a rip roarin start.  We have definitely had an eventful start of the week here in San Francisco.  The Giants swept the World Series on Sunday, and the entire city erupted on Sunday night.  It was absolutely amazing.  Tomorrow is the parade and I really cannot wait.  I mean what could be better?  Halloween + Giants Parade = More orange and black than anyone could ever handle.  

That's not what I am here to talk to you about today though...Actually, I wanted to give you all an update and let you know that I am still going strong on my spending freeze.  It's been just shy of 60 days, and I can truly say that it has all actually been very easy.  Of course there are things that I see online that I really really would adore hanging in my closet moreso than them sitting in my virtual shopping cart online.  So, what I have done instead is look for them on Poshmark.  If I find what I am looking for I use my credits from sales to purchase the item.  If I don't have enough credits, I will negotiate for a trade, or find something in my closet that I can part with to earn the money.  Here are some of the things that I am coveting in the Poshmark app that I am looking to get my grubbylittlehands on.

You know what's funny?  I was talking to The Mister this weekend and I actually am feeling like I could go longer than just the beginning of the year with this shopping freeze.  The idea of not spending any real money but still acquiring the fashions I want is actually really gratifying.  I am not just impulse buying things anymore.  I am actually thinking before I "buy" and making sure it's something that will add to my closet, instead of something to just fulfill an impulse.   My attitudes and thought process towards spending money is gradually changing, and for the better.  So, be sure to shop my closet on Poshmark, so I can buy that annorak and some rain boots.  #justkiddingnotkidding.
