#Stylechallenge: Borrowed From The Boys

Hello Gorgeous.  It's Friday, and you know what that means...Style Challenge time.  After last week's "Ladylike" theme, it was decided that we should do a "Borrowed From The Boys" theme this week.  Look, I am a lot of things, but a tomboy is not one of them.  I knew this weeks challenge would be harder for me than most of the others have been.

Wearing: Shorts: H&M.  Blazer: H&M.  Blouse: Zara.  Booties: Sole Society.

With that being said, I knew what I needed to do was channel my tomboy lovin sister from another mister, Santina.  I am sure you can all see why I nearly fell off the MUNI bench onto the piss laden floor when I saw her post this morning.  Black, polka dots, and a pop of red for the both of us. Obviously, I had to put my THYMWYA twist on this with my new favorite sexy Sole Society booties. While boyish may not be a style I typically go for, this look is definitely something that I really felt great in.

Speaking of Santina.  Recently we were hanging out with The Mister and her mister (TKB) and I asked them: "Why weren't Santina and I real life sisters?" To which they both simultaneously answered: "Because you would have killed each other."  All "what are you? some kind of idiot?"like.  While they are probably right about that one, I am thankful for the fact that your friends are the family you get to choose.  I am happy I chose wisely with the group of friends that I now consider mia famiglia.

Be sure to check out the other #stylechallenge participants for this week:

FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

  1. OMG, I love all of this so much. Obvs I love the the outfit as I pretty much wore the same thing! You look smoking hot in menswear - no surprise there, but this is also so boss at the same time. Love it!

And, I think the misters might be right. It's better we didn't go through our developing (read: bitchy and rebellious) days together. If we hadn't killed each other, we'd probably both be serving out life sentences. ;)

Lastly, if TKB gets any more press I might have to turn the blog over to him! Hahahaha. He is everywhere lately!

    1. Cheryl, you are the sweetest. The blazer is super old but is one of my favorite things in my closet. I feel like these heels are going to get a lot of play this fall and winter. So glad I got them before I put myself on my spending ban :-)

      xo.
