Happy Monday y'all! Did you have a good weekend? I sure hope so. I did a lot of sleeping and reading and overall rejuv'ing, which I think influenced my outfit today. Just relaxed and edgy enough to feel like my own skin. Oh, and don't freak out, but my hurrrrr is straight in these pics.
I had a lot of time over the weekend to reflect on the decision I made to move out to SF from Denver. Here is the list I came up with on why I moved to the opposite side of the country from anyone I knew and loved, and why I have never regretted it:
… to be a full-time pedestrian.
… to surround myself with smart, creative, and authentic people
… to experience living in a Blue state.
...parka's look like crap on me
Wearing: Scarf and T-Shirt: American Apparel. Skirt and Tights: H&M. Boots: Steve Madden. Jacket: Catwalk Studios. Sunnies: Rayban. Watch: Mikey. Jewry: Various Crap
… because I needed to live in a big city.
...I needed to be in a place where wearing black everyday was totally acceptable
… because there are so many cool and quirky and weird things happening here every day of the week.
...I hate the snow
...world class food
… for the weather
find be myself.
… for the ocean.
...to find love... not to just love myself, but truly love where I am, who I am with, and live in the moment and the beauty of NOW. CHECK, to all of the above. (XOXOXO to my mister for being a huge part of me feeling that way.)
...to find hidden gems
...the best love song to a city, EVER. Leave it to another hopelessly romantic Italian to verbalize exactly how I feel about this place.
P.S. Sorry for the reflective and serious tone of this post. I just feel like for once in my life I have a lot of peace and support in everything I am doing. I am feeling the love, y'all. I promise, I will be back to my cray cray rants tomorrow and it will include a full breakdown of Gagaloo's new video and how I am going to camp out with the Velvet Mafia in order to see Britney throw it!
